Bohua Academy of Chinese Musical Arts

BoHua Academy of Chinese Musical Arts（博华民乐团）is a non-profit organization formed in 2005 with the goal to promote Chinese music, culture, and to serve the communities at the great San Diego area. 

The mission of Bohua Academy is to promote the brilliant Chinese musical and culture arts, provide an oversea Chinese musical educational platform; participate in the community culture and performance activities; make our contributions to enrich multiple culture society in the United States.

To its ends,  we established several educational programs, have our own concerts and have performed in several social events, such as the 3^rd to 6^th “Holding Hands and Connecting Heat” concert sponsored by the American Chinese Culture and Education Foundation ACCEF), Qualcomm Summer Culture Gathering, wedding reception, Linda Vista summer festival, Balboa Park international day, Torrey Pine High School Lunar New Year Assembly.  

Our successes were supported by the communities and many sister organizations.  In many ways, we have been cooperated with Qualcomm Chinese Music Club， UCSD Chinese Music Clubs since 2010.  Our contributions were recognized by the community leaders, reported by media presses.  Recently, we received a certificate of  commendation, presented by United State Senator, Ms. Dianne Feinstein and Certificate of Appreciation presented by San Diego County Supervisor, Ms. Pam Slater—Prices.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

博华民乐团是创建于2005 年的非营利团体。其宗旨是在美国社会中，弘扬光大中华民族音乐和文化，从事海外民乐教育，参与社区文化艺术活动，服务社区，丰富当地的多元文化。

博华民乐团创立教学节目，主办专场音乐会，参加在圣地亚哥社区演出。他们曾出现在全美华人文化教育基金会举办的第三届到第六届《心手相连》慈善文艺晚会，2007年QUALCOMM仲夏音乐聚会, 社区国际节，婚礼，多利松高中农历新年庆祝会等。

社区民众和团体的支持是我们成功的一个主要因素，诸如自2010年来，我们与高通中国音乐社、UCSD中国音乐社保持了人员交往等常年的互助互作关系。我团的活动演出得到了观众的赞赏，也受到社区领导的表彰， 网络新闻和多家报纸的广泛报道。最近，加州美国参议员，Ms. Dianne Feinstein 和圣地亚哥郡的领导，Ms. Pam Slater—Prices 都为我们发来了奖状。
